(Duluth, Minn.) – Lake Superior College will present the second of three Green 101 lectures with “How Big is Your Eco-Footprint” on Tuesday, May 5.

Dave Stark, owner of environmental consulting firm Stark Enterprises, will talk about how to assess your ecological footprint and evaluate your environmental choices.

Stark’s presentation will go over current global resource issues and help to show the audience how to quantify their ecological footprint, along with evaluating their choices in relation to environmental impact.  Also included in the discussion will be a basic approach to impact analysis focusing on water, waste and energy.  Conservation and efficiency will be also discussed as important components of reducing impacts and as a pre-requisite to renewable energy integration, along with solutions on reducing carbon emissions to begin to address global warming.

The lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. and go until approximately 8:30 p.m. It will take place at LSC in room S1981.
