Two display cases for exhibiting the work of LSC art students will be dedicated at a special ceremony at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 22.  The display cases were created by LSC’s building construction program and funded by a gift to the LSC Foundation from retired LSC anthropology instructor Mary Pulford.

Pulford made the donation in honor of her father, Ray Hanahan, a painter, furniture maker and, in retirement, master wood carver.  According to Foundation Director Paul Damberg, the display cases will provide a safe and accessible home for works of art created by students and faculty.

The ceremony will take place on the first floor of the Concourse near the entrance to the library.  LSC Vice President Mark Winson, members of the Art Faculty and Mary Pulford will be in attendance at the event.  Light refreshments will be served.
