Bob Collins of Minnesota Public Radio’s “News Cut,” an online blog on the MPR Web site, visited Lake Superior College on Wednesday, February 18. Collins interviewed several LSC students of varied backgrounds and interests and asked them how they felt the economy was affecting their learning, life and future.

“It’s a little nerve-wracking at first, but he made us feel really comfortable about a topic – the economy – that’s not always fun to talk about,” said LSC student Ashley Goodmund, who spoke with Collins for about 10 minutes. “But it was kind of nice to get this all out in the open. It was a great experience.”
