It’s time to QUIT!

LSC is hosting an eight-week smoking cessation program, Freedom from Smoking.

On Aug. 24, 2009, which is also the first day of the 2009 fall semester, Lake Superior College will become a tobacco-free campus.  All tobacco use will be banned at LSC.

If you’re a smoker and would like to quit, help is available. LSC’s Health Services office is offering Freedom from Smoking, a smoking cessation program developed by the American Lung Association. Open to all LSC students and staff, Freedom from Smoking offers individuals who are ready a step-by-step plan for quitting smoking.
