Get Healthy and Fit Through Campus Wellness Programs

The “Campus Wellness” action project team, as part of the Institutional Effectiveness Committee, has organized a wellness program this fall.  Staff are invited to participate in the following activities:

Blood Glucose & Cholesterol Baseline Screening – brought to you with the kind assistance of the Medical Laboratory and Medical Assistant program faculty and students. If you are interested, you may sign up on the list located in the Health Faculty offices, room E2132. Testing will be done on Thursdays, beginning October 30, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. (in 15-minute increments) and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Blood Pressure Kiosk – located in the Atrium. Learn your baseline health statistics so you can monitor your improvement through participation in healthy activities.

· Beginning Yoga – Friday, November 7 – noon to 1 p.m. E1114

· Intermediate Yoga – Friday, November 14 – noon to 1 p.m. E1114

· Walking – Tuesday, November 18 – noon to 1 p.m. S2956

· Meditation – Tuesday, November 25 – noon to 1 p.m. E1114

· Dancercise – Thursday, December 4 – noon to 1 p.m. E1114
