Who:
All services are free to LSC students and employees – regardless of health insurance status. In addition, services are available at a low cost to any member of the community without health insurance.

Physical therapy can treat problems associated with (but are not limited to): back and neck pain, arthritis, injuries to the joints, muscle soreness or weakness, loss of flexibility, balance problems, walking problems, headaches, slow-healing wounds and poor posture. In addition, the PT clinic can provide tips on injury prevention and workstation setup, along with assisting in determining lifting restrictions and teaching proper lifting techniques. A doctor’s order is not required.
 
Physical Therapy students also need the occasional “practice patient.”  As a practice patient, you would receive a treatment (usually a hot pack, paraffin wax, cold pack, ultrasound, and/or massage…your choice) but not be an official clinic patient.  If you would like to be called when these types of openings come up, call 733-1093.
