Inspired by former Minnesota State Colleges and Universities trustee Bob Erickson’s annual bike tour of system campuses, the first annual “Where’s Bob? Ride for Scholarships” took place on Friday, August 29.  Participants rode a 44-mile route from Lake Superior College to Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College and back.  The event raised approximately $1,600 for scholarships.

Participating were Cliff and Anna Koski, Kent Richards, Tom Gustafson, Dave Spoelhof, Adrienne Dinneen, Julius and Isaiah Salinas, and Steve and Maia Dalager.

Former trustee Robert Erickson peddled more than 14,000 miles over six years to raise more than $300,000 for scholarships for part-time students.  The “Where’s Bob” event picks up that tradition.
