Hey, starting college is a scary thing. To remedy this, college students are given a wealth of great information to make their first year go smoothly. But behind every ready-to-rock college student is a parent or two who is shaking in their boots.

That’s why LSC is having their first-ever Parent Day on Saturday, August 23! It’s a full day of activities to get parents comfortable with where their student is furthering their education.

More than 300 parents are expected to attend, along with more than 70 LSC staff volunteers – and scores of students! The day begins with check-in from 9-10 a.m., with coffee and cookies served in the Student Life Center. After that, the day will be filled with learning, laughing and hopefully a few eased parental minds.
