Student Writing Online; English Department Publishes “The Spectrum”
The LSC English Department has published the 2008 edition of the SPECTRUM, a compendium of student writing. The paragraphs and essays at this Website (an LSC blog) represent a cross-section of fine student work from Writing Fundamentals II, College Composition I, College Composition II, literature classes, and Creative Writing.
By paying a visit to this online publication, you will not only get a sense of the kinds of writing taught by the English department, you will also get a sense of our students’ voices, abilities, and lives.
Paper copies of the SPECTRUM will be available in August.
Congratulations, too, to those students whose work was recognized by their instructors as being something special–and whose work made the final cut when reviewed by the selection committee!
