Lake Superior College held its annual practical nursing and associate degree nursing pinning ceremonies on Monday, April 12, and Tuesday, April 13, respectively. As a long standing tradition, LSC nursing students receive a commemorative pin at the completion of the program requirements. At this year’s events, 89 practical nursing graduates and 63 associate degree nursing graduates qualified for the honor.

The keynote speaker at both events was Brenda Marshall, R.N., Regional Director of Nursing for A & L Properties. Ms. Marshall is a graduate of both programs and a current advisory committee member.

Practical nursing student of the year Axel Olson and associate degree nursing student of the year Laurie Chromy were also recognized at the ceremonies.
