Greetings from LSC’s Italy Abroad Coordinator
Hi from Italy,
This is just a quick note from rainy, overcast, chilly, absolutely wonderful Italy. There are changes since last we were here. Many of our favorite shops and restaurants are closed leading to speculation about the effects of their economy and ours. An American dollar buys less than 3/4 of a Euro. Still the country and Firenze specifically provide wonderful sights to see and photograph. While Margo and I are here with LSC students, we are taking Victoria Hutson’s Digital Photography II class online. Victoria has hung some of our Italy photos on the wall near the library. She is adding to the display periodically. I do want to let you know that prior to taking Victoria’s classes, neither Margo nor I had ever taken a photograph that we really liked. She’s an extraordinary teacher! I hope you get a chance to take a look at them.

Thanks, Connie. I had honestly never taken a photo that I liked prior to Victoria’s classes and in fact had stopped taking them altogether when traveling. She’s fabulous. If you you have time in your life for a class, I strongly recommend it.
