LSC’s outpatient physical therapy clinic is open Monday and Wednesday afternoons between 1 and 5 p.m. PT services are free to LSC students and employees. The Lake Superior College Practical Nursing program had the highest pass rates in Minnesota on the Nursing Boardsin 2007. Ourpass ratewas at98.13%. Congratulations to the students and faculty on their achievement.

LSC hosted the Duluth Regional STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) Summit on Feb. 5. More than 200 students from regional schools including Ely, Virginia, Cook County, Proctor and the Duluth area attended the event organized by the Minnesota Department of Education.

Gary Adams, LSC’s director of physical plant, received an Outstanding Service Award at the annual meeting of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Facilities Division.
