The online faculty have spoken. Congratulations to Tina Johnson and Hanna Erpestad for being chosen by their peers, LSC’s Virtual Campus instructors, as Lake Superior College’s outstanding online faculty members of 2007.

The award, which recognizes outstanding online teaching, was established last year. Susan Brashaw was the 2006 recipient of the outstanding online faculty award and was honored at the 18th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning in April.

This year there are two awards available and the recipients will be recognized at national e-Learning conferences again. Tina Johnson will receive the LSC Award for Excellence in e-Learning at the Instructional Technology Council’s e-Learning 2008 Conference in February in St. Petersburg, FL. Hanna Erpestad will receive the LSC Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Technology at the 19th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning in April in Jacksonville, FL.
