Lake Superior College Students Build Robots for Competition

Jake Hustad and Dane Nelson, Integrated Manufacturing StudentsStudents enrolled in Lake Superior College Integrated Manufacturing programs will present a robot demonstration and competition at noon on Tuesday, December 18, in the LSC commons. Six student teams are developing robots for the event. The students are tasked with designing, building and operating a robot intended to lift and move five pounds of beach sand through an obstacle course in a timed competition.

The event is free and open to the public.
