The new Academic and Student Services Building was officially opened on Friday, Sept. 21 with speeches, a ribbon-cutting, and a reception attended by students, staff, faculty, and community members. Guest speakers included Duluth City Council President Russ Stover, Rep. Mary Murphy, MnSCU Trustee Tom Renier, Speaker of the House Margaret Anderson Kelliher, and MnSCU Chancellor James McCormick.
