Biking Bob, also known as Robert Erickson (center), rode into LSC Aug. 21, accompanied by faculty members Steve Dalager (left) and Julius Salinas (right). This was his sixth and last ride around Minnesota, raising scholarship money for part-time students. He has raised more than $300,000. He attended a wonderful reception organized by LSC Foundation staff where part-time scholarship awardee students Brenda Janeksela and Melissa Kindgren spoke about their education and how the scholarships had helped them.

He was presented a check for $3,000 by Student Senate President Sara Brundige (far left) pictured with Biking Bob and President Kathy Nelson (right).
