Lake Superior College will host the First Annual Northeast Robotics Competition on Wednesday, May 16. The event will feature 15-pound combat robots competing in a 12-foot by 12-foot plexiglass arena. High school teams from across the state have been invited to compete.

The Division of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Student Life, and the LSC Foundation are sponsoring opening night of the musical “Carousel” at the Duluth Playhouse on Thursday, April 19. As part of the sponsorship, LSC has received 100 complimentary tickets to distribute to students.

Lori Marana has joined the Workforce and Community Development Department as a new OAS Intermediate staff member. Lori comes to LSC from St. Luke’s Hospital where she worked as a refund/remittance clerk. Lori has an extensive background as an administrative assistant.
