LSC will host the “Empty Bowl”? Throwathon, starting on Dec. 1, Friday morning at 9 a.m., running 24 hours through the night to Sat. Dec. 2 at 9 a.m. Artists plan to make hundreds of bowls to be donated to the “Empty Bowl”? fundraiser to be held on April 7, 2007. The completed bowls will be available for $15 at the Depot on April 7, 2007. A delicious variety of soups and breads are included. Proceeds benefit the Second Harvest/Northern Lakes food bank. Area artists are invited to participate in the Throwathon along with anybody who wants to help with refreshments, schlepping supplies and other duties. Wear your grubbies!
