LSC hosted the Junior League’s annual Festival of the Trees on Saturday and Sunday, November 18 and 19. The event is one of the region’s best attended fundraisers. Sandy Solem, a firefighter with the Duluth Fire Department who recieved her fire and EMS training at Lake Superior College, is a member of a team that placed second at the World’s Firefighter Combat Challenge.
