Lake Superior College’s first year building construction students are hard at work on a community service project this week. Approximately 20 students, under the supervision of building construction instructor John Calcaterra, are constructing a new hockey rink for the Duluth Heights Hockey Association.

Enrollments at the 32 member institutions of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System rose slightly over the last year, officials said recently, as they released the system’s 30th day enrollment figures.
This fall, the system has 173,016 students, an increase of 2,262 students from last fall’s enrollment of 170,754. That is a 1.3 percent increase.... more »

Foundation Receives $25,000 Endowment
Lake Superior College has received $25,000 from the Hunt Family to set up an endowed scholarship for the LSC Foundation.
