Scholarship Deadline Approaches

October 18 is the application deadline for six scholarships offered by the Lake Superior College Foundation. Laurel and Hardy Fan Club Returns to LSC

The local chapter of the Sons of the Desert, the international Laurel and Hardy fan club, will hold its September meeting at Lake Superior College on Friday, September 15. Bich Competes in World Triathlon

Faculty member Brian Bich finished 33rd in the World Triathlon Championships held Sat. Sept. 2 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The event attracted more than 1,600 participants from 61 countries. Bich was fifth in his age category with a time of 2:11.30. The triathlon includes a one-mile swim, a 20-kilometer bike ride and a five-kilometer run. more »
