Report Outlines State Colleges and Universities Economic Impact

A recently concluded study finds that the Minnesota State Colleges have a $3.5 billion dollar economic impact on the state. The report also states that for every state dollar invested in the colleges Minnesota sees an economic benefit of $10.87. New Personal Trainer Program Prepares Students to Take National Certification Exam

Lake Superior College will begin offering a new 30-credit Personal Trainer program spring semester. The program will prepare students to work in a variety of health and fitness settings. Student Senate Conducts Election Day Voter Registration Drive

LSC’s Student Senate conducted a voter registration drive in the commons on primary election day, Tuesday, September 12. Forty-two students registered to vote during the 4-hour event.
