A group of 6th, 7th and 8th graders from Duluth’s Lincoln Middle School, Cloquet and Proctor took part in a week-long Business Camp at LSC. The campers prepared to run a model Exchange City by campaigning, interviewing for and learning about various jobs at the city. Jobs included mayor, judge, police officer, banking, snack shop, disc jockey and others. The camp was funded by a MnSCU math and science readiness grant and coordinated by Michelle LaPorte with the help of Junior Achievement and instructor volunteers.
