Nelson Named College President of the Year”

The Minnesota State College Student Association (MSCSA) has named President Kathleen Nelson, “College President of the Year.”?
MSCSA is a statewide organization that represents more than 100,000 students on 46 campuses, including all of the two-year colleges, in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system. It works to ensure accessible, quality, and affordable public higher education.
Nelson was nominated by LSC’s Student Senate President Jori Davis and then was selected by students representing MnSCU campuses across the state. The award was presented at a banquet held on Friday, April 22.
Congratulations to staff member Susan Bentley who tied the knot March 10 to Jim McCahan from Superior.
