Just a little sore from my 10 mile, but not too bad.
I took today off.
Just a little sore from my 10 mile, but not too bad.
I took today off.
Today I ran 10 miles. It took me 88 min.
My route was mostly flat with some small inclines and declines.
Today I ran easy. It was a nice day for a run and I really enjoyed it. It felt good to get a 10 miler under my belt for the season, the 10 mile distance is my favorite.
My hip is still sore although once warmed up, it didn’t bother me too bad. I ended up with a slightly sore toe nail, but that is nothing new. I look forward to the increasing temps.
Today I ran 5 miles. I did it in 40 min
my route was rolling hills.
I warmed up for about 10 min. then I did my 6×100 stride-outs. They felt good. I am starting to feel stronger and in more control of my body when I do these. I ran easy for the last mile.
I am experiencing a sore muscle in my hip/butt area. It just feels like a sore muscle, but when I run every once in awhile it shoots a split second burning pain. I am going to stretch out more before and after my runs to see if this will help.
Today I ran 7 miles. I didn’t time myself.
My route was rolling hills.
I just ran a steady pace for the 1st 4 miles. On the last 3 I picked up the pace to race pace. I walked 4 blocks for cool down.
I felt good. There was no wind at all which is very rare here in Two Harbors. Big storm coming Fri-Sat so I may have to dust off the treadmill.
45 min of weights.

Today I ran 5 miles. It took me 39 min. I ran today because there is a chance that my schdule might not let me run on Tues. I really want to get that 5th run in this week, that is my goal.
My route was rolling. Because I wasn’t feeling well last week on the hill run day, I chose to charge the hills on my run today. There are 4 pretty good hills on my route.
I felt AWESOME on my run today. I can really feel myself getting stronger. Charging the hills for me today was not a problem and it felt great to push myself.
Today I ran 8 miles. It took me 72 min.
My route was rolling hills. I ran easy.
I’m still feeling worn out from Friday’s run. I think my body is having a hard time adjusting to the longer mid week runs that I wasn’t doing before. I seem to be struggling to get in that 5th day run. I will continue to listen to my body and put that 5th day in when I feel that I can do it with out running myself down.
I felt good, dispite the crapy weather (come on spring). I do enjoy my long easy runs.
Today I ran 7 miles. I ran it with a pace of 8.4 minute mile.
My route involved rolling hills. One mile was off road on a very snowy trail.
Today I struggled on my run. I warmed up for the first mile than deceided to try a trail. It started off ok but as I ran deeper into the woods the snow became quite deep on the trail. By the time I hit the road again, I was ringing wet from the knees down. I felt like I was running with 2lb. weights on my feet. I also had that dang head wind again. It was for sure a great workout, I was tired!!
I did try my HR monitor for the first time and held it at about 152-160 going up hills.
I took today off.
