Today I ran 6 miles with a 2 mile race pace pick-up in the middle of it. It took me about 50 min.
Easy 1 mile warm-up. During the 2 mile race pace my effort was hard. I stuggled to keep pace for the whole 2 miles. Rest of my run was moderate to easy.
This was a scheduled work out, and I completed it. I felt great when I was done!
My route was state rd. #2 in Two Harbors. It’s mixed with flat, up hill and down hill.
What a great day for a run. 41 degrees! Perfect!!
