Adopting the right attitude can convert a negative stress into a positive one.
If you look at going to school, doing homework, studying, and getting up early with a really negative attitude you’re probably going to get burnt out real quick and every thing about school will seem like a chore; but, if you show up every day with positive attitude you’ll actually enjoy learning and meeting new people. If your goal orientated you’ll tend to have more of a feeling of purpose, just remember what your trying to accomplish and for what reasons. Always look for that light at the end of the tunnel and always stay on top of assignments the day you are assigned them. Don’t procrastinate! I slacked off for about a week when it comes to homework and I ended up feeling overwhelmed and negative about the situation. Only when I spent extra time before and after school doing homework until I caught up did I feel confident in my academic progress. Anything worth working for has a certain amount of stress. This stress can be either positive or negative; it all depends on how you perceive the challenge at hand. If you see it as drudgery and a pain in the neck, then it will be a negative stress, but if you see it as an opportunity to grow then it will be a positive stress.
