Signs from China


Definitely good advice. Keep your eyes open for that Avian Flu. Apparently it’s hiding in a suitcase somewhere in Asia.

I couldn’t resist this photo from a Pizza Hut in Kowloon, across the harbor from Hong Kong. Sure enough, I waited around for a little while to hear some locals say, “Hey, let’s salad together, and then let’s pizza together, and then let’s cheesecake together!” At least I think that’s what they said.

Don’t view these Chinese relics too harshly, they are irretrievable!! I suggest that you look away every few seconds to ensure that no damage is done.

Beijing Olympics – Will we be able to see the torch through the smog?

A Four Star toilet in the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. Some critic liked it very much and tried to add a fifth star, apparently. Trust me, four stars was a generous rating to begin with.

Our Chinese partners are good banner makers. They always have large banners welcoming us to their campuses. This is the banner commemorating the signing agreement between LSC and Binhai College in Tianjin, China. We hope to develop student and faculty exchange programs with Binhai.

Here’s a sign from Beijing Normal University. I didn’t see any “Office of Backstabbing One-Upmanship.”
