March 2009

While dangling precariously over the edge of our cruise ship, I noticed the ship docked right next door was missing lifeboat #13. Of course that was also true on our ship. I don’t know about you, but I’m not getting into lifeboat #15 – because it really is #13 – and apparently that means you’re going to die out there.

From Costa Maya, Mexico – which was devastated by Huracan Dean a couple of years ago.

This sign greeted people as they walked into the auditorium at Elgin CC for my keynote address there in March 2009. Of course I asked everyone to turn their cellular devices ON, especially since we used them as part of the session by demonstrating Poll Everywhere as part of my Teaching with Technology, Myths and Realities presentation.

Not only does this Portland (OR) pizza place have one of the best names ever, they have very good and somewhat unique pizza choices as well. Highly recommended.
