Here’s a little sign that was posted on the bulletin board at the EducationUSA office in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is priceless. Teachers are a lot like sharks. They need to keep moving (developing) or they will die. Sounds like a union issue to me. Somebody should be expecting a grievance any day now.

I have a layover in the Singapore airport on my way to Jakarta. The Singapore airport is very modern, very clean, and they speak very good English around here. In other words, it’s hard to find goofy signs here. One of the first things I noticed getting off the plane was their name for the “moving walkway.” The Travellator!! Much cooler name.
Be careful, you are approaching the end of the travellator!

Found this little gem in my neighborhood Super One grocery store. You can save a minus 62 cents if you buy two of these boxes of Kleenex tissues. Regular price of $1.19, now on sale at two for $3.00. Get ‘em while they’re hot!!

A sign at the Saigon airport. This is the box where you can unload your disallowed items from your carry-ons, unforcefully! Correction! This is from the airport in Tokyo, which is why there are Japanese characters on the sign (9/24/06 edit).
