If you love goofy signs and good bar-b-que, as I do, then the Kansas City Barbeque in San Diego is a must stop. Also known as site of the sleazy bar scene in the movie Top Gun, this place is packed with goofy signs and license plates from all over the world. The employees are a trip and the food is really quite good.

Just down the street from Petco Park and the Convention Center, across the street from the Hyatt. Just follow your nose.
