Sunday Week 2

route; lakewalk; flat

effort: Moderate, I was trying to take it easy but my calves were really tight and made it seem a lot harder to run.

Saturaday Week 2

Route: treadmill

Effort: I was trying harder because I set the pace a little faster than I am used to running

Again, my Saturdays seem to be jam packed and I try to fit in what I can.

Duration: 45 minutes;  6 x 100 meter strideouts approx: 4 miles

Route: Skyline PKWY; generally flat

Effort: easy

Wednesday- Training week 2

Duration: 55 minutes approx: 5 miles

Route: A hilly route, went up and down side streets out by UMD

Effort: The hills were tough, tempted to stop and walk but tried to run through it for awhile

I did Thursday’s workout today because I have to work tomorrow and I thought I would be to tired to attempt a workout like this tomorrow. I’ll do Wednesday’s tomorrow.

Lifestyle: I had yoga class earlier in the day so I kind of had to workouts today

Tuesday- Training week 2

Duration: 30 minutes

Route: generally flat across skyline pkwy

Effort: Started out easy, then tried to progress gradually to a faster speed. I found that at a faster speed than 10 minute miles I can not run very far. Thus I slowed back down after a few minutes because I figured it was better to run farther slower than to stop and walk.

Workout completed

Lifesyle: I had a good night sleep and I am starting to eat better.

Happy Easter!!

Duration: 45 minutes: approx 4 miles

Route: across skyline PKWY, generally flat

Effort: roads were slippery from snow making it a little harder to run on.

lifestyle: ate a lot of candy before run and didnt get much sleep the night before

Workout not completed: I found I did not have much time because I was getting baptized and had a lot of church obligations today.

Effort: easy relaxed run
