Dang! Had I read about your ankle I would have told you NOT to run that crazy race through the mud and yuck! I would have really pushed for you to run the 5k or not at all.  Don't get too discouraged.  You have been building fitness and you will not lose it with a few easier days to baby that ankle.  Ice it like crazy--Whenever you have 10 mins or so to sit.  Wrap it tight with an ace bandage too to limit the swelling.  Can you get to a pool? Do you swim or aqua jog.  You can stay really fit and even make gains cardio wise in the pool and it is no impact.  It could be a good option until that ankle stops bugging you.</description>
