Week 4
Posted on April 15th, 2008 at 1:50 am by rice

Well what a week! It was all going good and then we got that storm and i felt guilty not running those couple of days. But it turned out to be a pretty nice day on saturday. This weekend is the Fitger’s race and i am pretty excited about it i have not ran a 5k for a long time. I did pretty much everything on the schedule i slipped a few times though. On Sunday i got hit with some kind of bug and was sick all morning but i am feeling better today. I just walked today and it felt good to be outside on such a nice day! Here is what i did this week

Monday: I ran 3 miles on the tredmil. Ifelt pretty good

Tuesday: I ran about 30 min on the tredmil and and i did 3×80% then i realized we were suppose to do it five times.

Wednesday: I ran 3 miles on the tredmil again

Thursday: I didn’t get off work Until late and i didn’t get to run

Friday: we got the storm but i did sit-ups

Saturday: I ran 4 miles and i am starting to realize the tredmil is getting pretty boring to run on.

Sunday: i got hit witht the flu! (yuck)

Well i feel like i am not progessing for some reason which it could be becaus i have not been feeling the best the past couple of weeks. i feel like i am doing something wrong and i need to be working harder. But i don’t know it could be me.

hi,

The storm was a kick in the leg. I am so ready for spring. Don’t feel badly about missing a run during that–with no treadmill at home, you would be out of luck running outside in that mess or getting anywhere to hit a treadmill. I think you got some great training in considering the weather and you had a bug this week. Look for me at Fitgers and say hi. Good Luck!
