Hello All,
Well this week went good again! I am stating to feel better and in better shape! It actually is starting to become a habbit and i am so glad that it is getting warmer out so that i can run outside and not on the tredmil. I still have not tested my heart rate yet so i have to get on that. My sleeping habbits are still not very good but i am trying to get to bed earlier. I think i need some advice on my diet and what to eat, so this is what i eat usually:
I wake up and i have a bowl of cereal and then i usually don’t have lunch but i will like a quaker bar or something a little bit after i get done with school and then i will go and do my running. Then when i am done with that i will eat a meal like chicken and rice or a hamburger and green beans and then i will have an apple for a snack i cahnge it up with what i eat everyday but there is a idea of how i eat. On weekends i will eat a little bit more. And now i am going to start having protien after i run. is this an ok diet, should i be eating more or less? I need a little help. ha! so here is my run for the week:
Monday: I ran 3 miles because i din’t run on sunday. I ran on the tredmil
Tuesday: I ran 2 miles at a faster pace and that was on the tredmil too.
Wednesday: I ran for 45 mins and i did the stide outs for the last 15 mins.
Thursday: I ran the boardwalk and it felt very good to be outside it was sunny and pretty nice out.
Friday: I rode the bike for a half an hour and i did situps.
Saturday: I didn’t get time to run.
Sunday: i ran about 4 miles outside and it was nice out.
I am ready for week 3 and i can’t believe that we are already on that week. The marathon will be here before we know it!

Hi,
I think your diet looks ok. I know it is hard to eat something in the middle of the day–to find time and finding something that will digest before your run. Instead of a quaker bar, maybe you could get a cliff harvest bar or a protein bar to eat midday. It is difficult to say from one day, but it does seems like you are not getting enough calories in early in the day. If you could add another snack before your run–fruit, yogurt and berries or granola, a sports bar, a cup of cottage cheese and fruit? I don’t a big lunch either, but I do eat every three hours. Usually I just have something little, but I don’t let hours go by with nothing in the tank. I think you will feel better for your run with a few more calories in the afternoon. I am glad to hear you are felling good and the training is starting to be a habit. Keep truckin’
