Week 1

Hi, Well this week was pretty good!

This was my schedule for the week:

Monday: Rode the bike for 30 min

Tuesday: Ran about 2 1/2 miles on the tredmil

Wednesday: Ran about 4 miles and i did the sprints on the tredmil

Thursday: Ran 3 miles on the tredmil

Friday: took the day off

Saturday: Ran 4 miles outside and it was a very nice day

Sunday: I took the day off because it is Easter but i will run tomorrow to make up for it.

I thought that i put alot of effort into it. I am really looking forward to running the Half and i want to do my best. Although, my training routes were not that hard i still tired. My sleeping habbits are not very good i stay up pretty late as you can see the time of my post here. I think i ate fairly healthy this week but today (Sunday) i ate alot of chocolate and candy. Thats all i have for this week!

Not bad for a first week–pretty good in fact! You were consistent and got some good efforts in. We all ate too much candy on Easter, so don’t beat yourself up over that. You shpuld work on your sleep though. You will need it now that you are in regular training. In fact, you might find training helps you to sleep more and more soundly. How did the sprints go? (see the strides video–they are not suppose to be run as all out sprints.) I was happy to hear you felt good all week-no isses yet.
