Interview

April 25th, 2007 by raankarl

I interviewed a family member about their meth addiction. its a distant relative. They overcame this addiction. She said it took just one time before she was addicted. The obstacles were really bad cravings for it, while she was at the rehab. And people offering her more after she was trying to be clean. She offered the advice of never getting started on meth! I learned that is super easy to get hooked on meth and that there’s lots of meth around everywhere, and it’s really easy to make, that is why it is so popular.

Response to schedule

April 4th, 2007 by raankarl

As i looked at my schedule i realized i waste most of my time sleeping. my other time all went to work and school. If i sleep a lot less i will have more time to study and maybe even more time to make some friends. I will revise my schedule and homework and study time will be more important than sleeping.

Mid-Term

April 4th, 2007 by raankarl

So far i have learned a lot from this class. i have learned about scheduling and how to save time. this will help me with further scheduling for college in the future. i also learned about saving money. The discussion board really helped and there was some really good ideas on there. the third thing i learned was how to build a resume better. Just looking in the book helped with that. This will help me in the future to get a job! i also learned stress busters and that they actually do work! if you ever get stressed just go for a run or even a walk.

Dear anyone who cares,

Today i found the perfect career. I’am a road comic. I get to travel around the U.S. and get paid too tell people jokes! Can you believe it? Life doesnt get much better than this. I’m really excited, to go on tour. It should be a good experience. I don’t think i will get fired from this one, like every other job i’ve ever had. Well i have to go get to work, i’ll talk to you later!

Spring break

March 14th, 2007 by raankarl

I had a good spring break. i did what most lazy people do, in that, i slept most of the time. I shoveled a little bit when I absolutly had too! Thanks to all that snow at once I no longer like snow. I went to an open Mic night stand-up comedy event. That was unsuccessful too say the least! Hardly anybody showed up, because honestly not that many people go to a bar, in downtown Duluth, on a monday night. But if you want to come too our April 2nd show, at 8 pm at dubhlinns pub and billiards and get some free laughs and half price drinks, Featuring some funny guys and me, thatd be great, if you came! Other than that i just worked and that was my spring break

visual Learner

March 14th, 2007 by raankarl

Iam a visual learner. i agree with this. i learn better if i look at pictures or diagrams. I like to see things happen. Such as demonstrations, and things of that nature. I like to see information instead of just listening to it.

Got Stress?

February 20th, 2007 by raankarl

Well for a stress buster i tried something that you normally wouldn’t see me doing, I went exercising. i’ll be the first to admit that i’m kind of on the lazier side. However I will say that it worked, i went for a little jog, in the cold, and it does pretty much take your mind off of whatever is stressing you out. Now I don’t get stressed out too often, so you probably won’t see me jogging too much, but it does help. I would say anyone should try it, it’s usually good too exercise anyways, but it will definatly help!
