I'm amazed when I look at your progression as a writer over the last year. You have come a long way and are prepared to succeed in your academic career! Go forth and write with confidence!

This is a strong argument for Supersize Me. You do a good job giving credit to the movie for your factual information, too. I think the way you handle your opposition arguments could use a little more work, but overall, it's a solid essay.

+2 another strong revision. Again, your thesis up front helps to pull everything together. I hope you share this piece with your family.

+2 I like the new intro, and your thesis really pulls the threads of Millie's life together. She really loved it, I bet. Good revision!

+2 This is much better with a strong thesis in your intro. Your story supports it pretty well, though there are probably statistics showing that females are more often the victims of violent crime than males are. As a father of three girls, I tend to side w/ Alyssa's dad... Grrr...

+2 this is an important piece, and you've revised it well. You've been in school a long time, haven't you? Imagine where you'd be w/o Mrs. Ruhnke.

I agree with you. College is so different from the real world. Life is not even close to what you will see when you move up and out and have to find that job that you went to school for. You make think that you deserve that job and in the reality so do all the thousands of other grads think.

Also, love to me is something that maybe there one time and the next time it is gone. I have a hard time believing in the "love thing"

I like the quotes that you chose too, they are really strong quotes. Many college students think that college is kind of a waist and also about relationships people think that they maybe in love but it can also just be lust.

I agree with you. College doesn't prepare you for everything once you graduate. Some things you just have to learn on your own. It is also good to hve a backup plan like you said because you can't always find the job that you want.

Cilla, Your Class and C/E ideas are strong, but you aren't Persuading. What are you asking readers to do or think differently? Perhaps you could persuade readers who fear travel that it's worth the risk?
