This quote supports this essay a lot. It tells that the soldiers were promised but eventually it came into a lie. So their were soldiers that got disappointed also families. The essay also tells that cause of the draft; result of young americans being sent to fight and die in a war that became a disaster. While the soldiers were in Irag thousands of soldiers died and thousands were lied to.
I don’t know what I would do If I was ever drafted. It’s incredible what these men and women go through and do to fight for our country. They are strong people to have to deal with such bad circumstances, especially being lied to.
