Introductory Essay
While taking this class, I have hopefully excelled at writing all types of essays. I feel that I have pushed myself to write better and smarter. Writing the persuasion essay was by far the hardest essay to write, because I’m not very good at persuading anyway. My favorite essay that I wrote would have to be essay #4. I feel that I did a really good job on it.
I choose most of my topics because they are very real topics and are my life experiences (Essay 1 and 4). Getting other people’s opinions of my writings was a little weird at first, but the peer review really helped throughout the course. I felt that having other students read my essay before I handed it in got rid of most of the stupid common errors.
As a writer I feel that I have strengthened some of my weak areas of writing. It still takes me a while to brainstorm up an idea, but as soon as that intro paragraph is gone I have no problems.
Hi Mark. You wrote a very good introduction. I also like to write about things about my life in a narrative format. I just think it’s easier than to make up something, at least you know it’s true.
