“Sharing What You Do Online” sessions
The first “Sharing What You Do Online” session spurred so much great discussion thatwe’ve decided to offer six or seven more yet this semester. The next three sessions are as follows:
- Thursday, October 11 from 12:00-1:00 Amy Jo Swing will showcase her Comp II class. Amy Jo has been teaching online for ten or eleven years and taught me how to teach online. She has excellent ideas!
- Thursday, October 25 from 9:00-10:00 Theresa Hornstein will show either her Pathophysiology or Biology of Women class (or maybe both, if you ask!). Theresa utilizes storytelling, discussions, and case studies effectively in her courses. Students love her teaching style!
- Thursday, November 1 from 12:30-1:30 Victoria Hutson will showcase one of her digital photography courses. Victoria’s courses are beautifully done. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to show others her courses during various workshops I’ve been involved with over the years.
Interested in attending one or more sessions? Please RSVP by sending me an email. I’ll be emailing all faculty with reminders and session locations over the next few weeks.

Hi Susan,
I hope the attendance is good since these sessions sound fabulous. Is there a chance that we could start capturing these presentations for later viewing by those who cannot attend?
