We have a logo everyone! The club has come to a decision and our logo is decided. No one unfortunately wins the contest, because the logo that was chosen is the previous logo that has been used for the club before. This image can be seen in a frame located in the Nursing Lab. This logo will be used on all pens and badge reels that’ll be distributed to students who come to our meetings and participate in events we take part in. This image will also be used on the jackets we will be selling to all nursing students who are interested.

This was an awesome year and it was so much fun working with all of you. My goal with this club is to keep it moving and encourage it’s growth. I hope this club will keep going on even after I graduate. The Nursing program here at LSC is a big and great program. It’s only natural that it’d have a club to go with it. I know we’re probably the busiest students on campus, but to have this club up and running is a wonderful thing. It’s providing opportunities for the students to be involved on and off campus which heightens they’re experience as a nursing student. Not to mention, a great item to put on a resume. Thank you to all who have supported us and thanks to all the participants. Here’s to a great year. To see what we’ve accomplished in just a couple of months, check out the Spring 08 Report page. We’ll be continuing this fall and I can’t wait to see you all again!

Congratulations to all those who have made it! Big Thank You to all those who have helped us. This marks the end of the year for our club and our classes. Let’s celebrate! Join us in our celebration, all nursing students and faculty invited!

LSC OPEN HOUSE
Friday, April 25th
We will be helping out at the open house by handing out free ice cream sundaes. The school will provide all the materials. We just need to show up and scoop up the ice cream for the prospective students. The open house goes from 3p-6p. We need at least 3-4 nursing students to help out throughout that time. We can split it doing hourly shifts. The first shift needs to show up 20 minutes early. Please email Angie or come to the next meeting to sign up!
