Introductory Essay

            Since fall of 2006-2007, I took a college Composition class in Lake Superior College. It’s also known as A English class as well. That class teaches me how to use proper English and use correct verbs, nouns and adjectives.

            I’ve been in this class for almost half semester now and so far, I love it. My favorite part about this class is that if I miss a day of school I don’t have to worry about my assignments that I’ve missed. I can just jump online to see what the class did the day I missed class. My work can still be done on time, and turn it in on time as well. My other favorite part is that we get to do all of our assignments online. That’s what I like about this class. My least favorite part about this class is that we have to blog every other day. We just have to write random things. So, sometimes I tend to run out of ideas to talk about. That’s the only thing I dislike about this class.

            Since this class has started our class has been writing essay’s. So, we would have to post them online so my group can view it and leave helpful comments about it. The comments show me what I need to improve and what I should not do. So, this peer review technique is helping me out a lot. It gives me a chance to read my comments and revised it with the comments that my group has left foe me. I think all my other classes should use and do this peer review thing. It also gives me a great opportunity to view and read my classmates essay’s as well.

            This is one of my favorite classes ever. Through out this semester in this class, we have been writing a lot of essays. I don’t even realize issues inside of me until I actually wrote it out on papers. Some essays that I wrote in my composition class are the most important essay’s that I’ve ever written. This is a fun and creative class. This class make you lead to a lot of creative thinking. Like when we had to write about cause and effects, I really had to use creative thinking. There’s a great instructor and a great class filled with great students in it. This class is only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They should make this class three or four times a week instead of two days a week.

            I have learned to use creative thinking when it comes to writing. I wouldn’t say I’m good at writing or not good at it. When I was a kid, Math and writing was my least favorite subject. Now I love writing. If I had a bad paper, I want somebody to tell me straight up that my paper is bad. I think that as a growth to my writings, I have accepted the bad and the good comments that people have left for me. It’s good to let other read my essays. That way I can get tips on how to become a better writer.
