The DARE
The quote i picked was “But as a seventh grader struggling to make the cut in a tough Atlanta grammar school, all it took was a dare”. This quote stuck out to me because when you are young and starting junior high you want to start in the “In” crowd. You want that popularity because in high school/junior high school popularity is such an important thing to some people that they want it and it doesnt matter how far they went in whatever they had to do to prove that they are “cool” ones. Everyone in school has peer pressure. Its juat a matter on how far you will go to get that “ok” by in the in crowd. I liked this story a lot because it really showed that peer pressure really does happen and anyone can be the target of peer pressure.
Hey! I have to say I agree with you; since I picked the same quote. I don’t think anyone will go through life without going through some sort of peer pressure. I think that everone has a different way of handling it.

I wonder if peer presure gets any less as we get older. For me, I still feel it once in awhile, like at a meeting where I’m supposed to say something, but I’ve got nothing to say…
