Struggling For Perfection

Posted by leah in Uncategorized

I believe the author is right for the most part. Women are made to feel as though they should be as perfect as models, actresses, pin ups, etc. The magazine companies, and yes Playboy too, edit the pictures of women to make them more “perfect” than they already look. Funny thing is it could be an old, overweight man taking the pictures and telling women how to be better. HAH!!!!! My opinion is that if you have a good personality people are going to be drawn to you. The more people like you the better you look to them. There’s alot of good looking, skinny assholes. How men respect women isn’t just from the media but also how they were raised. If they are taught to treat women with respect as a child it should follow as an adult. I’ve noticed if a man treats his mom well then he’ll treat his girlfriend/wife well. Girls should also be brought up to respect and accept  themselves.

Just Walk On By

I couldn’t imagine how hard life must be for people who are being discriminated against. To have to try to come across as innocent as possible since their guilt has already been thought. I try to treat people as they deserve based on their atitude and behaviors. If your a good person then I will treat you with respect. If your an ass then I don’t want anything to do with you, no matter what color you are.

M&M’s

I think your categorization of students is accurate. We all know the students who dont show up often and you wonder if they’re even passing. And the ones who show up, do the work just so they can get the grade. In defense to these students, most aren’t wanting to be writers let alone creative ones. They take the class because it’s required. Yes, like myself. Then there are the ones who just live to tell stories, write, are creative, and do it all well. Good for you Peanuts! I’ll be looking forward to your book someday.

Snowball Fights!!!

Posted by leah in Uncategorized

One of the best things about winter is snowball fights. My boys and I had a 2 hour fight, the downfall is I have several bruises. It’s not an easy fight when it’s 2 against 1 and they are bigger and quicker than you. Yep, I got my but royally kicked! Not only did I get my but kicked I also walked home muddy and wet. well, I should soak in a hot bath, bye.

Let it Snow

Posted by leah in Uncategorized

I don’t know about you guys, but I love the snow! Especially when we get the day off from school. I’m going to make some cookies today, a nice roast dinner and play in the snow. I like to go snowshoeing, especially when it’s snowing while your out in the woods. I love when the snow is hanging off the pine trees. Everything is so peaceful and pretty. I hope you guys enjoy today as much as I will.
