I really really cannot think of any major issue in the world today that I have any experience with. I could say that I go to a school…and it is possible that I could experience a school shooting, but I haven’t, and I don’t want to do that anyways. It’s not really a debate actually…what am I thinking. I’m little disconnected today. Ok, so I’ve resorted to using a non-worldy debate and decided to write a 6-8 page paper on whether it should be “catsup” or “ketchup”. Hey, it could be debatable. Condiment conneseurs have pondered that question for ages. I mean, why would someone name a condiment after an animal (cat), and then add some slang generation x greeting (sup) on the end? That’s odd. But then there’s ketchup. What exactly are you, or I, or anyone really “catching up” to? If we just said spelled it like “catchup”, it turns out that it has the “cat” element of catsup, plus the pronounciation of “ketchup”.

-Who named them?

-Are ketchup/catsup condiment companies enraged in rivalry?
