                Throughout this course I have learned many things about writing and about myself as a whole.  One major thing that I have learned is that I lack motivation to write about anything that I do not connect with on a personal level.  I have also learned that anybody can write but it takes a lot of determination, work and time.  To produce a quality piece of writing you have to write revise edit and do it all over again asking many people to help by reading and revising your work.  This I find to be the most difficult thing to do. 

                Most of these pieces I enjoyed writing however I did not enjoy writing about walking my dog at the boardwalk because I lacked motivation and specific stories and details to add.  I could sit and complain about people on the boardwalk or have a lot to say but when it came to writing it was very difficult.  My favorite piece to write was the one about my grandmother because she is very close to my heart and I admire her greatly.   She has had the greatest and most positive effect on my life thus far.  I hope she will continue to guide me and be there for me.  So in conclusion I have learned that I need to learn how to motivate myself and better myself when it comes to my writing and schoolwork in general.
