I think Roerian rhetoric is very useful and would get more accomplished than just traditional arguement.  I think it is very helpful to say both sides of an issue instead of just one.  When you say both sides of the story, the audience will think about it more as compared to when you say just one.  Then the audience probably wouldn’t listen to what you have to say.  I am confused about what to write after you finish with both different sides of the arguement.  In the story, it talked about writing what makes your side better.  I thought that after both sides have been put out there, you are supposed to talk about what both sides have in common and what they both believe in.  I was also confused reading the sample essay in the handout given to us in class.  I didn’t see how see talked about both sides of the issue.  I thought she just talked about the one side of the topic so I couldn’t follow the paper according to Rogerian rhetoric.
