          Who remembers the way fighting used to be? The old I’ll meet you at the flag pole after School. I don’t because it has never happened like that in my school K-12.             When kids fight these days it’s a joke. One kid will talk a bunch of trash about some other kid, then that kid will get all mad then he’ll start talking trash back to the kid that started it. Then it’s the meet me down the block at the park at five O’clock. Through what I’ve seen is that either someone doesn’t show up, or a car full of people for both sides shows up ready to fight. Then one of two things happens, either one kid got jumped, or it ends up being a big brawl and nothing gets settled.  If that doesn’t happen, it’s a one on one fight. The one kid who is loosing pulls out a knife and stabs someone, or pulls out a gun and someone gets shot. I don’t understand why people bring weapons to a fight. If you’re going to get into a fight you should know that there is a chance you can win, or catch a beating. Real men don’t use weapons in a fight to help them win. Then after the fight there’s a good chance that both of the fighters will get into trouble with the police. Chances are kids will get in trouble even if he hits the person in self defense. I have a friend who got in a little bit of trouble for hitting someone in self defense, which is wrong. He was just defending. If you don’t get in trouble with the cops kids will with there school, because if they even talk about fighting in school, and they do fight outside of school the school can punish them which is also stupid. Because there was no fighting in the school, so they should have no authority over the issue.          I want fighting to go back to the way it was back in my Grandfathers day. If there was a problem they went up to the person and just hit them. There was no talking, no meet me at the park at five, they just fought. The fights were always one on one fist to fist. No weapon’s and no jumping like five on one. If you got into a fight at school the teachers would just tell you to take it outside. Then when you were done fighting you went back to class. If you got into a fight at a bar you went outside and fought. The guy that went down is the guy that lost then the fight was over, and chances are the winner would buy the guy a beer to like make a peace offering. If the cops saw two people fighting they made sure it was a fair fight. For example no weapon’s, and to make sure no one ells jumped in.                                                                                                                          I talked to my grandpa and he told me that fights were always fair. It was always one on one, or two on two and so forth. Then I asked him if any one used weapons. He told me only wimps used weapon’s, and men used there fists. He also told me in a fight you win some and you lose some either way you take it like a man.          Ah the good old days, or the way I want fighting to be know days. But I don’t think its going to happen.
