essay 3
A guy at the bar orders an other beer but the bar tender cuts him off because he is to drunk. He asked the waitress to get him a beer and she won’t. The guy gets really mad, grabs an empty beer bottle and thou it at the wall. That’s where I come in to play as a bouncer, I had to kick him out. But not before laughing at him because he didn’t even break the bottle. The employees at Shooters like any other work place are classified by the jobs they do. Without the bar tenders, bouncers, and waitresses the bar would not succeed.
At Shooters the bar tenders are all girls. They are all nice and friendly, and wear revealing clothing which I think they wear to get bigger tips. I don’t complain because it is a smart idea, and the view isn’t bad either. Bar tenders definitely need to get along with other people, whether it be taking a drink order, or just being nice to the customer and having a conversation. Most the time I think they’re being nice to get better tips. For example Amber will probably make like a hundred more than the other girls because she flirts more and wear lower cut shirts.
The next category, are the waitresses. They dress like the bar tenders. They wear what ever they want to. They wear little mini skirts and revealing tops to get more tips. They are even more friendly to people because they take drink orders and also try to sell little dollar fruity shots to make more money.
The last category, are the bouncers; that’s my department. We stand at the back doors carding people making sure people are old enough to drink. My main job is to keep the peace. We also walk through the bar to make sure nothing does happen. We are friendly until someone steps over the line; then it’s go time.
It is important for any company to function correctly there needs to be different categories of positions, like bar tenders, waitresses, and bouncers.
